How the Ombudsman Provides Leadership to the Public Sector Enterprises
Abstract
I propose to talk, along with Annwyn Godwin, the Merit Protection Commissioner, about how strong leadership works hand-in-hand with good governance. Annwyn and I felt it was appropriate, given our respective roles and experiences, to jointly address the topic from a public sector point of view. We hope our presentation gives you an insight into how our two organisations are emphasising the importance of leadership within the Australian Public Service, in order to promote good governance in that Service.
